Termite Solutions was asked to quote for a Termite Barrier treatment on an Everton Park home after the Buyers Building and Pest Inspectors identified a small termite issue at the front door.

While they were concentrating on this small issue they missed the big issues which were the poor drainage that was illustrated by the high water line on the concrete stumps under the house and the mud pit around the stumps.  We suggested that the Buyer consult with neighbours regarding flooding issues, as the Real Estate agent and her recommended Building and Pest Inspectors had made no mention of any previous flood problems.

A Termite Solutions inspector emailed this photo to the Buyer of this Everton Park home showing the high water line on the concrete stumps under this home. The buyer has decided to terminate the contract after having this issue, and several others brought to her attention by our Inspector. Termite Solutions was invited to the home for a free quote for a Termite Barrier after a small termite issue was observed. The Buyers Inspectors hadn’t mentioned the drainage/flooding issue in their reports.
